"Paul did a lot of work on my mother's 1880 Totnes residence recently - intially to repair damage caused by a previous tenant (lifting of heavily soiled carpets and replacement with laminate flooring). Then, after taking down ivy from an external wall, it became clear that extensive repair of the stone wall was necessary. Paul did a brilliant job to repoint the stonework which was painstaking and needed attention to detail. He also removed and replaced rotting window ledges and fascia boards keeping the work sympathetic to the age of the house. Finally, he was able to do some necessary outdoor renovation (repaired damaged stone stairs and installed a rope handrail for tenant safety). Paul is reliable and honest and always keeps me updated on work progress which I appreciate, as I no longer live locally. He has solid experience in the building trade."
